We are excited to welcome you back! Our commitment to the health and safety of our guests, artists, staff, and volunteers is our priority always. We will continue to follow guidance from the CDC and the State of Ohio as part of our commitment.

HEALTH AND SAFETY MEASURES

The following precautions will be taken, as of March 8, 2022:

• Cashless Transactions - All transactions inside the theaters will be cashless. All food and beverage purchases must be made with a valid debit or credit card, or with mobile wallet options such as Apple Pay or Google Pay. 
• Air Quality - Playhouse Square has the latest HVAC technology, including air handlers equipped with MERV 13 rated filters, which are known to trap COVID-19 particles. As an additional measure, GPS brand bi-polar ionization, which is known to reduce risk from COVID-19, has been installed in our HVAC system. The theaters will be prepared by running portable HEPA filter units for three hours prior to each performance.
• Enhanced Cleaning - We are following enhanced cleaning and strict disinfection protocols.
• Clean Hands - We have hand sanitizer available in the theaters and encourage guests to wash their hands frequently.

VACCINATIONS and MASKS

STRONGLY RECOMMENDED

As we approach a lower rate of COVID-19 transmission in Cuyahoga County per the CDC, vaccinations and masks are strongly recommended but not required for guests at Playhouse Square effective February 18, 2022.

SEATING

All performances produced by Cleveland Play House in the Allen, Outcalt, and Helen Theatres will be ticketed up to full capacity.

Cleveland Play House will remain attentive to the changing conditions and will make further decisions providing updates as necessary. Please remember to follow the precautions and preventive measures as recommended by the Ohio Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control:

• Wash your hands often with soap and water.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Please stay home when you are sick.
