In this new heartwarming story, a little dinosaur has big feelings. A precocious and potential new friend has big thoughts about all his big feelings. The two quickly discover that, until they can name and control all those feelings, they might never be friends.

About the CPH Family Theatre Program:

Cleveland Play House’s groundbreaking educational programming seeks to use the medium of theatre to mitigate the adverse childhood experiences that many young people experience in their formative years.

The Very Lonely Dinosaur is one in a series of six plays funded by the U.S. Department of Education. Previous productions include Teddy Bear Mountain which toured to communities in Greater Cleveland and upstate New York in 2022, as well as Watching Butterflies which premiered at Playhouse Square and toured to Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2023.
