Help us reach out to the community by working with our CPH Site Coordinators on-site at their Cleveland Metropolitan School District WrapAround school locations. A variety of positions are available including food bag distribution, after-school tutoring, general administrative support, and recess coaches.
Minimum commitment: A set schedule, as determined by position. Time commitment varies by position. Morning and afternoon options are available.
Get a behind-the-scenes look at the workings of CPH. Administrative support volunteers will assist a variety of departments with data entry, contacting teachers to confirm upcoming performances, writing letters of response to students, making thank-you calls to donors, assisting with mailings and more. Strong writing skills and computer proficiency are needed in some jobs.
Minimum commitment: A set, weekly schedule or on-call projects can be arranged.
Work with a CPH staff member at our new gift shop – The Shop @ CPH. In addition to helping set up and put away the merchandise, you will greet visitors and assist them with their merchandise selections. A wonderful opportunity for those with retail experience.
Minimum commitment: Two four-hour shifts per show. Daytime, evening and weekend options available.
Assist CPH with finding out more about our audience. Work in our lobby during select performances and administer short surveys to guests following the performance.
Minimum commitment: Two performances at 90 minutes per performance. Afternoons, evenings, weekdays and weekends options available. A set schedule or an on-call schedule can be arranged.
For retired teachers or those with an education background, volunteer your time by helping our Education department develop student guides, assisting with mailings, as well as educating schools about our programming.
Minimum commitment: A set weekly schedule or on-call projects can be arranged.
Work alongside CPH staff as we host special events throughout the season. Greet guests, help with wayfinding, check coats, take tickets, and assist CPH staff as needed. Physical requirements may include standing for extended periods, setting up/taking down chairs, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Minimum commitment: On-call schedule as needed. Evenings and weekends.
