CPH Donor Generosity is Worthy of a Curtain Call!

We have been honored by the outpouring of support we have received from you in reaction to this crisis.

CPH was eagerly producing three dynamic plays for Spring of 2020 – Middletown, Antigone and A Doll’s House, Part 2. We were looking forward to presenting our New Ground Theatre Festival and The Bourbon Street Ball -- our annual fundraising gala...and then COVID-19 struck. Months of preparation, auditioning, casting, designing, building and rehearsing had to be cancelled or postponed.

Since March, we began the arduous task of contacting 4000+ ticket holders about our cancelled performances. 79% of the ticket holders we’ve connected with thus far have either donated their ticket costs back to CPH or have agreed to credit their ticket costs toward future performances. Nearly 50% of our subscriber base has already renewed their subscriptions for the 2020/21 season, not knowing when we can produce plays again, not knowing what the season will include.

We know it is hard right now for everyone and that everyone’s situation is unique. Our hearts go out to all of you, and we are working creatively to provide some inspiring artistic experiences to help you get through this as you have helped us.
