This hilarious farce gets an 80s sitcom twist!

Tartuffe

by Molière
translated by Ranjit Bolt
directed by Jason O'Connell

Run time: 75 minutes without intermission

Préparez-vous for a laugh-out-loud night of theatre, sitcom-style! The man of the house has completely lost it, duped by a slick, sanctimonious con artist whose phony piety is matched only by his ambition to make off with the man’s family fortune (as well as his wife!) This classic French farce gets a retro TV twist, delivering rapid-fire jokes and larger-than-life characters. First unleashed in 1664 and still hilariously on point, Tartuffe proves that hypocrisy and hubris never go out of style—delivering big laughs, sly satire, and wildly entertaining chaos!

He's also both an Andy Warhol enthusiast and serial Pittsburgh appreciator (pretty buildings!). Brendan received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Colorado Mesa University and his MFA in Acting from Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Playhouse. He plans to move to NYC this September and to begin forming a community of like-minded people and artists who strive for the authentic and the kind. He's also excited to look at the pretty buildings there. Check out Brendan's other works and interests: @bkylowry / bkylowry.com
