Six middle school misfits are thrown into a cutthroat, high-stakes competition, and P-A-N-D-E-M-O-N-I-U-M takes first place. Welcome to the 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, where eccentric adolescents (all played by adults!) get their chance to shine as they vie to prove they are worthy of a shot at “Nationals.” A touching and irreverent coming-of-age comedy with a high-spirited, improvised spelling bee, this Tony Award-winning musical is a laugh-out-loud winner.

(Leaf Coneybear) recently made his Broadway debut as Elder Cunningham in The Book of Mormon, standing by for the role at the Eugene O’Neill Theatre as well as on the national tour. Other Broadway credits include Sunset Boulevard and Lovemusik, directed by more(Vice Principal Douglas Panch) has appeared at CPH in Vonya and Sonia and Masha and Spike and Company. He starred in the Broadway and film versions of Andrew Lloyd Webber's By Jeeves, written and directed by Sir Alan Ayckbourn. Other Broadway credits include Sunset Boulevard and Lovemusik, directed by Harold Prince. He also worked with Mr. Prince in the premiere of 3hree at the Ahmanson Theatre. He has toured nationally in 42nd Street, White Christmas, Cats and Mame. In 2005, Ali became the first student in a wheelchair admitted to NYU’s Tisch’s drama program, earning her degree in 2009. She served as assistant conductor and keyboardist for the original Broadway production of Les Miserables. Other Broadway credits include Aladdin, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Dirty Rotten more(Music Supervisor) has been a music director, keyboardist, conductor, and orchestrator for over 30 years. She served as assistant conductor and keyboardist for the original Broadway production of Les Miserables. Other Broadway credits include Aladdin, Sister Act, Mamma Mia, Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Miss Saigon, City of Angels, Secret Garden, Once on This Island, and Sweeney Todd. She has worked at major regional venues across the country and coached hundreds of performers for auditions, shows, and cabaret. (Assistant Stage Manager) serves as an Assistant Professor for the School of Theatre and Dance at Kent State University, where he teaches courses in Stage Management, Production Management, Theatre Management, and an intro course to computing software for the theatre practitioner.
