More than 5,000 young people attend a student matinee at CPH each season. Students attend a pre-show workshop designed to help connect the themes of the play to their own lives, participate in a question and answer session with the artists following the performance and bring home a student guide that provides academic and real world connections to the production.
All educational materials support the common core standards.

“We Can Do It!” So said Rosie the Riveter, and so say the women of Cleveland, Ohio, in this vibrant new comedy! It’s 1942, and the leading men of the Oberon Play House are fighting overseas. With “The Show Must Go On!” as their battle cry, a band of passionate, yet inexperienced, performers rally together to produce the Oberon’s season opener, an all-female version of Shakespeare’s ambitious Henry IV and Henry V. Will their production be a victory on the home front or a target for rotten tomatoes? A hilarious and moving story about what happens when we’re all in it together.

In this groundbreaking lyrical drama, Nya—a dedicated inner-city school teacher—sends her own son, Omari, to private school. But when a teacher’s questions push a button, Omari pushes back. An altercation ensues, and Nya’s plans for Omari’s future begin to unravel. Pipeline is a compelling, must-see portrait of the systemic school-to-prison pipeline and the experience of being a parent to a young black man in America.

If you were to make a list of things that make life worth living, what would be at the top? Ice cream? Family? The even numbered Star Trek films? Who would you share your list with? For our character in this uplifting solo performance, it’s his mother. This surprising and immersive theatrical experience speaks openly about depression, mental illness, and suicide. With poignant humor and joy, Every Brilliant Thing takes us on a journey through grief, healing, falling in love, and (re)discovering all that life has to give.
Content Advisory: Discussion of suicide and depression, 1 S-word
He’s back! One boy. One holiday wish. And a world that seems to be conspiring to make certain it doesn’t come true. The record-breaking show returns to the CPH stage in all its pink-bunny-suit, glowing-leg-lamp, triple-dog-daring glory. The perfect holiday treat for the entire family.
Bring your Game Night to CPH! It’s a dark and stormy night, and you’ve been invited to a very unusual dinner party. Murder and blackmail are on the menu when six mysterious guests assemble at Boddy Manor for a night they’ll never forget! Was it Mrs. Peacock in the study with the knife? Or was it Colonel Mustard in the library with the wrench? Based on the cult 1985 Paramount movie and inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, Clue is the ultimate whodunit that will leave you dying of laughter and keep you guessing until the final twist.
