CPH Welcomes Interim Managing Director and CFO

Dear Friends,

After a thoughtful process involving both Cleveland Play House Board of Directors and Staff, we are pleased to announce that two eminently qualified individuals are joining the Cleveland Play House family to use their skills for the next several months to address organizational needs and pave the way for a smooth transition to a permanent Managing Director.

CPH welcomes Collette A. Laisure who will serve as Interim Managing Director. Collette brings an extensive resume of non-profit executive leadership, a decade of Board and committee service to Cleveland theatres, and deep connections to the Fairfax neighborhood and The Presidents’ Council. Collette will partner with Artistic Director Laura Kepley to prepare our company for in-person programming.

CPH also welcomes Anita H. Cook who will serve as Chief Financial Officer. A deeply experienced leader, Anita has served in executive and financial leadership roles at leading service agencies in Cleveland. Her CPA and finance acumen will support ongoing work to strengthen and streamline CPH’s business processes.

Since the sudden and unexpected loss of Kevin Moore on October 24, 2020, the CPH Staff and Board have mourned his loss both personally and professionally. I wish to thank the members of the Staff and Board who took on extra duties during this difficult time to help keep the organization together and moving forward. I also send special thanks to everyone who is part of the CPH community for supporting and uplifting us all during this difficult year.

Both Collette and Anita step into their new roles on February 15, 2021. Please join me in welcoming these two talented women to Cleveland Play House.
