(Sir Charles Marlow/Junkeep) Lavour Addison was last scene as Macbeth in the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program’s Macbeth. A 2017 Member of the Chautauqua Theatre Company where he Played Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet. Recently seen in Shakespeare in Love at CPH. CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program credits include: She Stoops more(Sir Charles Marlow/Junkeep) Lavour Addison was last scene as Macbeth in the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program’s Macbeth. CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program credits include: She Stoops to Conquer, Clybourne Park, Mary Zimmerman's Metamorphoses, and a cameo in The Two Gentlemen of Verona. At Cleveland Play House he has performed in The CPH Centennial Plays, the world premiere of Quiara Alegria Hudes' The Good Peaches in collaboration with the Cleveland Orchestra, and the world premiere reading of FEED by Eric Coble. Other credits include serving as the Acting Captain of the Hawaii Pirate Ship Adventures and working as a full time member of the Professional Acting Company with the Honolulu Theatre for Youth. Favorite credits include The Wild Party, The Genteel Sabai, and Bug. Thank you to my wife Brittni Addison. You have always pushed me and made me better in every way. Paul Bugallo

(Mr. Hardcastle) Paul Bugallo was born in Miami but raised in Seattle where he discovered his passion for the performing arts. He attended Central Washington University where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Performance. Paul has performed in many of Seattle's professional spaces, including the more(Mr. Hardcastle) Paul Bugallo was born in Miami but raised in Seattle where he discovered his passion for the performing arts. He attended Central Washington University where he earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatrical Performance. Paul has performed in many of Seattle's professional spaces, including the Seattle Repertory and Center House Theatres, as well as improvisational theatres such as Unexpected Productions and Jet City Improv. Now residing in the proud city of Cleveland, Paul is absolutely ecstatic about finishing up his final year in the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program. You may have seen him over the last two years in CWRU/CPH’s productions of Macbeth, Clybourne Park and She Stoops to Conquer. Paul most recently appeared as Lord Tilney in CPH's 102nd season opening show Shakespeare in Love and as First Man in The Diary of Anne Frank.

Mariah Burks

Mariah Burks

(Mrs. Hardcastle) is a native Clevelander, and for the past 20 years has had a blossoming bond with the Cleveland theatre scene. Recent works include Dobama Theatre: Airness; CPH: Blackademics, Clue: A New Comedy (Cook), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), Marie and Rosetta (understudy for Sister more(Mrs. Hardcastle) is a native Clevelander, and for the past 20 years has had a blossoming bond with the Cleveland theatre scene. Recent works include Dobama Theatre: Airness; CPH: Blackademics, Clue: A New Comedy (Cook), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Logainne), Marie and Rosetta (understudy for Sister Rosetta Tharpe/Marie Knight) and Shakespeare in Love. Mariah is an alum of the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program Class of 2018, with credits that include Macbeth, Clybourne Park, She Stoops to Conquer and others. A graduate of Bowling Green State University’s musical theatre program, Mariah received the Regional and National Irene Ryan Scholarship Acting Award at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival. Regional/local work includes Caroline, or Change (Tantrum Theatre) and Ragtime (Cain Park). Kyle Cherry

(Mr. Lumpkin) Kyle Cherry was born in Wisconsin and raised in California. Other credits include The Seagull (Huntington Theatre Company), Gross Indecency (Bad Habit Productions), Macbeth and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Brown Box Theatre Project), Romeo and Juliet, and To Kill a Mockingbird (New Repertory Theatre), as well as readings and workshops with the Cherry Lane Theatre, Red Bull Theater, and Theatre Now New York. He is a company member at The Middle Voice Theater Company in New York, for whom he has acted, written, and stage-managed. Kyle holds a B.A. in English from Tufts University.

Sarah Cuneo

(Miss Hardcastle) Sarah Cuneo is a born-and-raised Jersey girl who fell in love with theater at an early age – one of her earliest memories is seeing the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and getting upset when she wasn’t allowed to get up on stage to dance with the Rockettes. more(Miss Hardcastle) Sarah Cuneo is a born-and-raised Jersey girl who fell in love with theater at an early age – one of her earliest memories is seeing the Radio City Christmas Spectacular and getting upset when she wasn’t allowed to get up on stage to dance with the Rockettes. After graduating from Princeton University with a major in Psychology and certificates in Neuroscience and Theater, Sarah decided to hone her technique and pursue her MFA at the Tony-Award winning Cleveland Play House in the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program. While there, Sarah appeared in CPH productions such as The Diary of Anne Frank (Margot) and Shakespeare in Love (Molly, Viola u/s). She also appeared in MFA productions, including She Stoops to Conquer (Kate Hardcastle), Clybourne Park (Bev/Kathy), Macbeth (Witch/Lennox), and Metamorphoses (Alcyone/Various). Though she is enthusiastic about many different acting styles, Sarah particularly loves working on heightened language texts such as Sarah Ruhl, Shakespeare, Tennessee Williams, and good old-fashioned farce. Sarah is a die-hard cat lover, sci-fi nerd, and coffee enthusiast. If she's not acting, she's probably reading, playing a board game, or re-watching Parks and Recreation for the hundredth time.

(Ensemble) is a Cleveland-based technical director and scenic designer. At Cleveland Play House, Derek serves as a Site Coordinator with the Education Department. Scenic Design Credits include The Elephant Man, Children of Eden, I’m Not Rappaport, Bonnie & Clyde, Willy Wonka, and Our Town (French Creek Theatre); The Tempest more(Ensemble) is a Cleveland-based technical director and scenic designer. (Mr. Hastings) is a proud graduate of the Case Western Reserve University/Cleveland Play House MFA Acting Program and considers Cleveland his second home. (Miss Neville) Megan Medley is so grateful to this class for all that they have shared together in this program and is ready to hit the Big Apple and start the next adventure. Most recently, she tore it up with her classmates as Lady M in Macbeth. At Cleveland more(Miss Neville) Megan Medley is so grateful to this class for all that they have shared together in this program and is ready to hit the Big Apple and start the next adventure. Most recently, she tore it up with her classmates as Lady M in Macbeth. At Cleveland Play House she learned a lot understudying Anne in The Diary of Anne Frank, and had a blast playing in Shakespeare in Love. Since joining the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program she has performed alongside her classmates in She Stoops to Conquer, Clybourne Park, Mary Zimmerman’s Metamorphoses, and the world premiere of The Good Peaches. She had the wondrous opportunity to perform in the world premiere of These Mortal Hosts at the New Ground Theatre Festival. Other credits include Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and Giselle (NoExit Performance); and Rapture, Blister, Burn (Theatre on the Square). She would like to thank her love Aurélien Bayo and her family for their love and support and her sweet kitties!

(Mr. Marlow) Randy Merrill hails originally from Tampa, Florida but was raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recent credits include the regional premier of Really, Really (Jimmy); Macbeth (Macduff), directed by Taibi Magar; Clybourne Park (Jim/Tom); and She Stoops to Conquer (Charles Marlow). Prior to joining the Education staff at Cleveland Play House she graduated with her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Clark Atlanta University. Samantha’s stage credits include her Off- Broadway debut in the musical showcase First You more(Ensemble) was recently an understudy in Cleveland Play House’s KeyBank ClassMAT Touring Program. Prior to joining the Education staff at Cleveland Play House she graduated with her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Clark Atlanta University. Samantha’s stage credits include her Off- Broadway debut in the musical showcase First You Dream (York Theatre Company!); her role as Bluiah Daniels in Ramona King’s Steal Away; a supporting role in Amiri Baraka’s The Dutchman, under the direction of Woodie King Jr. (Atlanta Black Theatre Festival); and more. She is originally from Brooklyn, New York and is excited about this endeavor.

Evan Thompson

(Ensemble) is pleased to be appearing with the CWRU/CPH class of 2018. Evan graduated from Princeton University in 2014 with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Theater, and has been living in Cleveland for the last year. Recent Cleveland credits include Ensemble Theatre’s The Phantom Tollbooth; Cleveland more(Ensemble) is pleased to be appearing with the CWRU/CPH class of 2018. Evan graduated from Princeton University in 2014 with a degree in Philosophy and a minor in Theater, and has been living in Cleveland for the last year. (Associate Director of CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program) most recently directed The Liar for the MFA Program, Othello at Texas Shakespeare Festival, Ellis Island: The Dream of America for The Cleveland Orchestra and Doubt for the Beck Center. For the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program, he has also directed Passage, Fifth more(Associate Director of CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program) most recently directed The Liar for the MFA Program, Othello at Texas Shakespeare Festival, Ellis Island: The Dream of America for The Cleveland Orchestra and Doubt for the Beck Center. For the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program, he has also directed Passage, Fifth of July, Clybourne Park, The Misanthrope, Too True to Be Good, and The Violins of Hope. Other directing includes Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Seminar, and Really Really (Beck Center for the Arts); and Becky Shaw (Dobama Theatre). Other selected directing credits include The Crucible, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, Twelfth Night, As You Like It, Habeas Corpus, The Pirates of Penzance, and Oh! What a Lovely War. He spent nine seasons at the Stratford Festival, three seasons at the Old Globe, and two seasons at the Shaw Festival. Television/Film: Guns, The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Passion of Ayn Rand, and Dead by Monday. Don is a proud Lunt/Fontanne Fellow and is the Director of CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program.

Previously he worked with the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program on She Stoops to Conquer and Metamorphosis. Additional stage management credits include 44 Plays for 44 presidents (Cleveland Public Theatre); The Addams Family more(Stage Manager) recently worked with Cleveland Play House as a Production Assistant for Disney’s Freaky Friday. Previously he worked with the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program on She Stoops to Conquer and Metamorphosis. Jerrold Scott

Jerrold Scott

(Director, Chair of CWRU Department of Theatre) is Katharine Bakeless Nason Professor of Theater at Case Western Reserve University where he teaches directing, classical acting, and speech and dialects, and also serves as the department's producing director. For the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program, he has directed Hay Fever, She more(Director, Chair of CWRU Department of Theatre) is Katharine Bakeless Nason Professor of Theater at Case Western Reserve University where he teaches directing, classical acting, and speech and dialects, and also serves as the department's producing director. For the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program, he has directed Hay Fever, She Stoops to Conquer, The Philadelphia Story, Present Laughter, Heartbreak House, and The Real Thing, and performed in As You Like It. Jerrold has directed 17 productions for the Department of Theater and will be directing Arcadia this fall as the inaugural production of the department at the Maltz Performing Arts Center. Other local directing credits include A Doll’s House, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Polish Joke (Beck Center for the Arts); As You Like It (Cleveland Shakespeare Festival); and A Long Day’s Journey Into Night (Weathervane Playhouse in Akron). Prior to his CWRU appointment, he worked as a director, actor, and educator in Washington, DC. He has taught at George Mason University, The Catholic University of America, and served a visiting lectureship at The Ohio State University. He holds a Master of Fine Arts in Theatre from the University of South Carolina/The Shakespeare Theatre, a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, and pursued further study in classical performance at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts. Jerrold is a member of AEA, SAG-AFTRA and an associate member of SDC.

Cyrus C. Taylor

(Dean of CWRU College of Arts and Sciences) is the Albert A. Michelson Professor in Physics at Case Western Reserve University. He joined the CWRU faculty in 1988. He has been a member of the Faculty Senate and served as chair of the Senate's Budget Committee, as well as more(Dean of CWRU College of Arts and Sciences) is the Albert A. Michelson Professor in Physics at Case Western Reserve University. He joined the CWRU faculty in 1988. He has been a member of the Faculty Senate and served as chair of the Senate's Budget Committee, as well as a member of the SAGES Implementation Task Force. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Academic Careers in Engineering & Science (ACES) program at CWRU, the first private university to be funded by the National Science Foundation ADVANCE program to promote full participation of women at all levels of faculty and academic leadership. Dr. Taylor earned his Ph.D. from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. A former Truman Scholar, Lilly Foundation Teaching Fellow and Guggenheim Fellow, he has published more than 60 papers and given more than 70 invited talks. Taylor has worked in theoretical and experimental high-energy physics, serving as co-spokesman of the MiniMax collaboration (FNAL T-864) at Fermilab and as co-spokesperson of the FELIX collaboration at CERN. He created and directed the Physics Entrepreneurship Program (PEP), which he helped expand into the now internationally known Science Technology and Entrepreneurship Program (STEP) at CWRU. In 2002 he was named a Fellow of the American Physical Society for providing a new paradigm for graduate education in physics through creation of a Physics Entrepreneurship Master's Program and in 2003 was awarded the Price Institute Innovative Entrepreneurship Educators Award.

Jeffrey Van Curtis

(Costume Designer) is Cleveland Play House’s Costume Shop Manager. CPH design credits include A Carol for Cleveland, My Name is Asher Lev, Bill W. and Dr. Bob, Doubt, I Am My Own Wife, Rounding Third, Proof, Dinner with Friends, and Art. CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program design credits include Angels more(Costume Designer) is Cleveland Play House’s Costume Shop Manager. Other design credits include Singin’ on the Ohio and The Goblins Will Git You at The Lantern Theatre, productions at Coconut Grove Playhouse and Studio Arena Theatre, and work on the film Kansas City. He has also created wigs for a number of CPH productions. He holds his Master of Fine Arts, Costume Design and Technology from University of Missouri–Kansas City. (Director of CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program) returned to Cleveland in 1999 to serve as the Chairman of the Department of Theater at Case Western Reserve University and serves as the Director of the CWRU/CPH MFA Acting program. He has been the Resident Fight Choreographer with CPH since 1999. Other directing credits include The Triumph of Love, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park; and The Comedy of Errors, Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Other credits include musical theater, opera, mime and movement theater. Acting credits include The Guardsman, Room Service and The Underpants, Cleveland Play House; and All’s Well That Ends Well, CWRU/CPH MFA Acting Program.
