Hearing Assistance System

Hearing devices are available at the coat check at no charge to patrons. Subscribers may reserve these on their performance date by calling the Box Office at (216) 795-7000, option 4. Patrons will be required to leave identification.

Audio Described Performances

Available every first Saturday matinee performance at 3 PM, The Cleveland Play House offers visually impaired audience members the opportunity to experience the non-verbal aspects of a live performance. From the sound booth, a trained audio describer describes the set design, costumes, body language, movement, and facial expressions of the actors during pauses in the dialogue. This description is broadcast live on closed circuit receivers about the size of a pocket calculator that feature a small, comfortable earpiece.

Transportation

Patrons needing transportation after the performance should notify the coat check attendant before the performance or at intermission.
