My husband and I loved the show, everything about it. Maurice is amazing, the orchestra more was perfect, the other dancers were wonderful! We left with a smile on our faces.

- Wendy, Kent, Ohio

Tappin' Thru Life" was wonderful, with excellent talent, extraordinary Tap Dancing, an exceptional Jazz Band, more and memorable music, which came home with me and became

part of my future memories.

Maurice Hines, the Manzari Brothers, and Grace Cannady, surrounded by a great

9 women Jazz Band made my afternoon, my day, my month, etc.

Congratulations on reaching for "perfection

- Joe N., Mayfield Heights

Full of vitality, eagerness, and joie de vivre, the indefatigable, cheerful, and fast-talkin' showman Maurice more Hines is offering a walk-down-memory-lane with song, big band, and a few special dance guests.

- Stage and Cinema, Los Angeles

One of the most fantastic performances I've seen. It was really awesome. The more music, songs, and tapping were phenomenal. It is great to see new young talent. At 70, Mr. Hines was absolutely terrific. Bring us more of this!

- IEG, Strongsville

I had a wonderful time, my adult tap group and I. Thanks for sharing your more heart felt journey with us!

- Traci D., Solon

A most enjoyable and entertaining show!!! Maurice tells his story of being in entertainment more for most of his life. Loved hearing about his mother, father and brother. For 70, he's doing great!!!

- CMF, Westlake

What an awesome showman! Despite adversities, Maurice and brother Gregory made it to the more top. Along the way they had support from many people ranging from Johnny Carson to Sammy Davis, Jr. Now, Maurice is giving back to the performing community offering support to new talents: the Manzari Brothers, the 12-year old tap dancing girl and the Diva Orchestra. He has given them opportunities to be stars. What a wonderful person!

- Deb K., Rocky River

Terrific Show!! Took two 30 somethings to celebrate their anniversary who have been raving about more it as well. Maurice Hines is a consummate entertainer. Thank him for letting us into his world. Happy to see an all female band for a change. Fantastic evening. Go...

- Gail, Olmsted Falls

What a great show! Good story telling and the Divas music and amazing tap dancing more were over the top.

- Margie H, Westlake

absolutely the best show of this kind we have seen in a long long time---CPH more should book more of these for the Allen's smaller venue the plays were wonderful this year and we are so glad we got to see this one thank you for booking Maurice!

- Bob and Vicki C., Mentor

We thoroughly enjoyed the show. Although the title and star's name led us to more believe it would consist of much more tapping, we were pleased with the format and the music. The band was great and Mr. Hines was delightful.

- S., Cleveland

What a wonderful way to end the 2013-2014 Educator's Evening series! The show was very more entertaining and such a beautiful tribute to the Hines family. Everyone left the theater with a smile...

- BW, Painesville

I am a season ticket holder and have enjoyed the whole season. TAPPIN put the more cherry on top! Mr. Hines and company were great!

- Mz. S, Cleveland

Enjoyed the show immensely!! Classy!! The selection of songs...the related stories. Enjoyed more the "hoofing." Wish there had been more throughout the performance.

- YM, East Cleveland

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Terrific show!

- suzyq, Cleveland Heights

It was a feel good show, I was smiling all the way through.

- Gme, Gme

Hines...expresses sheer joy in entertaining his audience, singing and dancing with a passion from deep more within his soul. You can't help but be pulled into the magic.

- Broadway World, Los Angeles

"Tappin Thru Life" was a great time. The Divas, the all women orchestra, was worth more the price of admission. We walked or rather tapped a long with Maurice Hines as he sang and talked about his career with his brother Gregory. Theater is all about the story and Hines used all the tools of his trade to tell it. The Manzari Brothers, who form a lovely subtext to the story, have magical feet. They underscore the theme of what it means to "dance with your brother." The 12 year old Grace Cannady was the perfect extra touch. I can't imagine what wonders the future holds, but the roots are clearly the Hines Brothers.

- Marti F., Reminderville

This was an outstanding performance. It ranked with my all time favorites: "Cookin' at more the Cookery" and "Gershwin". My wife and I were "blown away" with the Diva Orchestra, the Manzari Brothers, and the 12 year old. This was a wonderful evening.

Thank you.

- Fred & Carolyn, North Olmsted

Loved the show. Great seats. Good job with the season.

- Larry and Barb, Avon

the show was fabulous. MAURICE you are so amazing! and the music...can't put it into more words! where can I go and see that DIVA Orchesra! great great afternoon.

- alice a, twinsburg ohio

Oh, the joy of tap dancing, the necessity of it!...Highly recommended.

- Arts Meme, Los Angeles

I very much enjoyed the show & Mr. Hines. Divas were divine! I more was a little disappointed that there was relatively little dancing. The singing was superb, but I had expected more dance. Would have loved to have seen more of the Manzari Bros. Grace was great too!

- Christine W. , Medina

Loved it! Enjoyed learning more about how Maurice and Gregory got their starts in show more business. The dancing was so wonderful, just wish there would have been more of it!

- eb, Middleburg Heights

An enjoyable show, but it had much less tap dancing than we expected, especially given more the title of the show. It was mostly singing and about 20 minutes of tap. The Diva Band was excellent!

- BH, Painesville

Wonderful story, music, dancing, and overall presentation! My wife was posting same thoughts and recommending more others take advantage of attending.

the show was wonderful....enjoyed it a lot. hines is

affable and engaging. the band and other dancers were great.

ONE disappointment.......maurice didn't dance too much

but,he gave a great performance.

I was very impressed with Tappin thru Life....Maurice has a beautiful voice and i really more enjoyed seeing tap. The story of his life and his families life was very interesting. I am very glad that i got a chance to see him, and the thrilling Manzari Brothers. The Diva orchestra was fantastic. the young girl that tap danced was very good! Excellent musical...........

- B. Pope, Shaker Heights

What a wonderful, entertaining 90 minutes. Maurice Hines put on quite a show. more What an entertainer! One of the season's best.

- CJ, Parma`

...a show that is not to be missed.

- Huffington Post, Los Angeles

Tappin' was a great show, very entertaining, all talented performers, particularly Maurice Hines. The more memorable moment was to recall how bad we have been in the past to perfectly precious people --drain the pool, indeed. We appreciated Maurice's reminder.

- Katie H., Sagamore Hills

What a wonderful way to end the Playhouse series for the 2013-2014 season. From beginning more to the end the smiling audience was involved with singing, clapping, and tapping feet. The Divas were exceptional as the back up! Thank you, Maurice Hines for bringing this night club feeling show to Cleveland!

- Sara S., Jefferson

Maurice Hines conducts a gracious, exciting, audience -included romp through the music and dance more made famous by Hines, Hines, and Dad. At 71, he can still belt out songs and put on his tap shoes to dance, as he did with his brother Gregory, and his father in the 1950's and 1960's. It's a fun and inspiring show!

- CGS, Beachwood

A gem of a show! The set, the history, the music and of course the more dance...all executed to perfection by the consummate showman, Mr. Hines. This is the show to see this summer...

- Christine L., Mentor

FABULOUS 90 minutes - all too brief!

Great music, amazing tap dancing, outstanding musicians in the Diva Jazz Orchestra, and a truly delightful and professional performance by Maurice Hines. I'd love to see it again, and I will spread the word!

- Linda M., Cleveland

Maurice Hines had the audience in the palm of his hand. We were happy more when he was happy, sad when he was sad, indignant when he was treated unjustly, and we, too, respected and admired his parents! Oh, yes, we were quite entertained, too! He still has the voice and the moves. The Diva Jazz Orchestra is outstanding and has personality! They are the perfect complement to Maurice Hines. John Manzari and Leo Manzari are exciting to watch because they have amazing talent (and they are handsome!). Cute Grace Cannady has talent and poise. It's hard to believe she 's only 12. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

- Carol W., Walton Hills

What a fabulous show. I think it's our favorite of the entire season.

- Patricia J., Cleveland Heights

Heartwarming and full of audience participation. With song and dance Maurice Hines tells his more story, along with that of his brother, Gregory, their folks, and many well-known entertainers. The young people in the cast are our hope for the future, and it looks promising. Most baby boomers will love the show, and younger folks can learn a lot from it while having a great time!

- Linda H, Senecaville

My friend and I were so pleased to attend Tappin thru Life on Sunday afternoon more and are still awed at the magic of it. Maurice Hines has prepared what I call a love story about his family and their lives that outshines just about any production I've seen. The music and dancing were superb, but his charisma and obvious enjoyment of what he does made it an outstanding afternoon. Thank you for giving us this grand opportunity.

- Bonnie B., Willoughby

Wonderful show. My husband said it was the fastest 90 minutes he has ever more spent in a theater. Through song, dance, and narration, Maurice told his story, giving tribute to his mother and the most "famous" performers who helped him and his brother along the way. The Diva Orchestra was spectacular!!!!! Worth seeing again if I can fit it into my schedule and there are seats available.

- Emily, Novelty

If you love a great night club/vaudeville act don't miss this show. Hines reminisces, sings, more dances, and then the Manzari brothers knock you out with their tapping. The Diva Orchestra is sensational and a powerful support for Hines and his show.

- grh, Cleveland

Three words--Outstanding, outstanding , outstanding --What a show!!!--We thoroughly enjoyed "Tappin'"-- loved it!!!--The G's --Chesterland, more Ohio

- Tim and Betty G., Chesterland,Ohio

Best show of the season! Outstanding Diva Orchestra - you go, girls! A more pleasure to watch and listen to Maurice Hines. Well presented visual storytelling. I loved the Manzari Brothers and Miss Cannady, they are tap stars in the making.

- cmhteach, Middleburg Hts.

We didn't really know what to expect; however, we were more then pleased. it more was a fabulous show! I could see it again and enjoy it as much if not more a second time around.

- Rebecca, Mayfield Heights

It was a fantastic show. His vocal styling was amazing. The more DIVA band was impressive. Great jazz. The gals were tight. The tap dancing was wonderful to see and hear. I'm glad to see that the Manzari Brothers and Grace Cannady are going to be carrying the art form into the future.

The show took our breath away. There just aren't words enough to express how much we enjoyed it.

- Barbara H., South Euclid

I only wish it was longer!!!The music was fantastic!!!! and the dance brought back many more fond memories....a very enjoyable 90 mins....thank you

- Donna Perrino, Solon

We thoroughly enjoyed the performance. It was a great way to spend a Sunday more afternoon.

- lh, seven hills ohio

Absolutely, fabulous, I was telling my family they should make every effort to see this more very touching performance!

- Marsha W., South Euclid

Great show!!! My mom and I enjoyed the energy, singing, dancing, and a wonderful orchestra. more We especially liked the walk down memory lane with Maurice's stories of Frank, Sammy and Dean.

- Diane, Independence, OH

FABULOUS! Beyond fabulous! Just

go see it! more It'll lift you up and take

you away!

- Margo, Westlake

This was utterly delightful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

- D.C., D>C/

Nice way to end season. Great show. Well done.

- KK, Cleveland

From the moment Maurice Hines took the stage I was totally engaged in his music, more his life story, his charm, and his joy. I never quit smiling the entire performance. LOVED this show!!

- Jan S., Chardon

At 76 I was thrilled when Maurice took us through the history lesson which was more part of his background. I grew up in New Jersey and visited Birdland in NYC to see Count Basie back in the 50's, so his reference to that incredible ensemble, including the incredible singer, Joe Williams, followed by all the stories and stars he worked with over the years, was a walk down memory lane. And throw in his amazing tap-dancing talent, including the Manzari Brothers, the young lady who almost topped them, and the Diva Orchestra, and it was a night I will long remember! Thank you Maurice, and Cleveland Play House!!!!!!!

- G. Michel S., Cleveland, OH

Outstanding, I felt like I was watching a broadway performance in New York City!
