GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Did you know that ticket prices cover only about half of The Play House's annual expenses?  We depend on you and many others to raise the rest of the fund necessary to pay for critical elements -- like costumes and salaries for our professional actors.

Our season's year-end deadline of June 30 is rapidly approaching!
When the curtain falls on that deadline, if we haven't achieved our fundraising goals, it will certainly jeopardize some of next year's program offerings.  Please send your tax-deductible gift for this season today.  AND, this season, your gift will be worth even more, thanks to The Kalberer Challenge, which will add 50% to every new or increased gift!

We need your support as much as ever, so please contribute today and as generously as you can.  Thank you.

A Word on Corporate Matching Gifts - The Cleveland Play House applies all corporate matching gifts towards the individual donors’ gifts, which may move them into a higher giving category.  Some companies provide this benefit for both current and retired employees.  Please check with your company's human resources department to see if the matching gift program includes gifts to The Cleveland Play House.

Corporate Giving
The plays and programs of The Cleveland Play House contribute to local economic vitality, reaching approximately $20 million each year through direct spending, as a leading employer, and through indirect spending generated by visitors to the theatre and the developing neighborhoods.  The corporate gifts to our Annual Fund and various sponsorship opportunities support efforts to make Northeast Ohio a culturally enriching place to live and work.

Corporate Giving levels:

•  Weekend Sponsor:  $10,000 and above
•  Evening Sponsor:  $5,000-$9,999

Foundation Giving
The Cleveland Play House receives generous support from foundations, including many that were founded in Cleveland and have served generations.  Foundation Giving is part of the full range of community support that helps us produce professional level plays and educational programs that are made affordable for all ages in the diverse communities of Northeast Ohio.

Planned Giving
For many supporters of The Cleveland Play House, a planned gift is a way to make a significant and lasting gift.  By making a bequest to the theatre, you are assuring that the Play House will continue to inspire, stimulate and entertain audiences for generations to come, as well as maintain its high artistic standards that are recognized locally, nationally, and internationally.

As you consider your estate, you may want to consider giving options that benefit both you and The Cleveland Play House.  A bequest may be in the form of cash, securities, real estate, tangible personal property, or other assets.  To ensure that your exact intentions are carried out, wills, codicils, and trusts should be prepared by or with the advice of your attorney and financial advisor.
