"The Business of Progress"

February 13 @ 12:00pm - 1:00pm

Tri-C Metro CCA Black Box
12 noon - 1 p.m.

Cleveland Play House (CPH) is pleased to offer a unique opportunity for Greater Tri-C students, faculty and staff, a special program called "The Business of Progress." This 45-60 min. event incorporates the performance of brief scenes by the cast of CPH's production of Radio Golf, which asks the question, "Can you build the future without bulldozing the past?"  The actors' work will provide a rich and dynamic springboard for conversation about the many ways that the themes and ideas in the play--including racial inclusion, economic and educational privilege, and civic responsibility--speak directly to our city at this time of crucial change.

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with the actors and CPH Artistic staff about August Wilson's legacy, theatre, acting and any other topics of interest.

Reservations are appreciated. Please contact Dorothy Hirsch at Dorothy.hirsch@tri-c.edu to reserve your seats.
