a Cleveland conversation about the process, paintings and power of Rothko and Abstract Expressionism

March 14 @ 7:30pm - 9:30pm

Tregoning & Company Gallery
1300 W. 78th St. #3
Cleveland, OH, 44102

Mark Rothko said, “I think of my pictures as dramas.” In that spirit, Cleveland Play House and Tregoning & Co. present a special roundtable conversation on the personal—and personality—in art, inspired by CPH’s production of the Tony Award-winning play Red. Join an exciting group of Cleveland artists and experts for a free and wide-ranging conversation on personal process, ‘spontaneity’ and inspiration, and the particular goals and power of an artist’s style—both Expressionism (Abstract or otherwise) and beyond.
