ADULT & PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION
Professional Development for Teachers
Professional Development for Teachers consists of full-day workshops in conjunction with the North East Ohio Education Association (NEOEA Day) on integrating the arts into the classroom curriculum.  Workshops are also conducted in partnerships with the Lorain County School District, the Cleveland Municipal School District, Young Audience of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland State University.

Adult Master Classes
Adult Master Classes in Acting, Audition Techniques and Playwriting are geared toward working professionals wanting to improve their technique. Classes are a unique opportunity in Cleveland for working professionals to hone their craft with professionals from The Cleveland Play House Artistic Staff who have substantial national professional experience.

The Reading Club
The Reading Club is a Monday night series for subscribers, focusing on how to read and analyze a script in relation to its production possibilities.

Pre- and Post-Show Discussions (Mainstage, regular season productions only)

Pre- and Post-Show Discussions enhance the theatergoing experience through an interactive session that focuses on some of the key performance issues.

  • Pre-Show: Take advantage of these free discussions before every performance, led by a member of the cast, and make our plays even more enjoyable.
  • Post-Show: after every third Wednesday evening performance and every third Sunday matinee
