The Lunts on The Dick Cavett Show (1970)
December 30, 2011 by Lisa Craig, Public Relations Manager in Ten Chimneys
Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne were universally regarded as the greatest acting team in the history of the English speaking theatre (on stage from 1920s through 1950s).
On February 19, 1970, to honor playwright Noel Coward on the occasion of his being knighted, Dick Cavett interviewed not only "The Master" himself, but also his close friends, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne.
